The mayor of Baza, Pedro J. Ramos, has announced through a Municipal Decree the requirements for the presence of horses and carriages on public roads during the upcoming Fair and Festivities of the town, taking place from September 6th to 15th. Owners will be required to submit a responsible declaration to the City Council beforehand.
This measure, published on the municipal website's Notice Board along with the declaration form, aims to ensure the safety of attendees, the welfare of the animals, and the proper development of festive events in the streets of Baza.
The responsible declaration must confirm that the animals and carriages have been adequately disinsected, that valid civil liability insurance covering third-party damages is in place, and that all regulations regarding safety, hygiene, and animal welfare are met.
Failure to present this responsible declaration will prohibit participation in fair events and circulation with horses on public roads during the festive period.
