The weekly markets in Baza will once again be held at their traditional site, the grounds of the old railway station, starting Wednesday, September 30th, for the fruit and textile market, and Sunday, October 4th, for the second-hand market known as “Rastro Baza”.
This relocation will occur once the fair stalls and attractions currently occupying the space have been completely removed, thus allowing for the normal placement of the various stalls.
Therefore, Wednesday, September 23rd, marked the last day the fruit and textile market was temporarily located on Avenida del Mediterráneo. Similarly, Sunday, September 27th, was the final day for the “Rastro Baza” near the covered swimming pool.
The return to the old train station will involve the resumption of parking and traffic limitations that are usually applied in this area during the weekly markets.
