The plan, part of the Andalusian Green Hydrogen Valley, maintains its projected production capacity of 600,000 tons of ammonia per year. The changes introduced by the promoting company mainly affect the surface water concession and the route of the electrical evacuation line, as stated in the resolution published in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Government (BOJA).
Among the updates, the request for surface water on a temporary basis stands out to supply the infrastructure until the future wastewater station in the area is operational. Additionally, the power line connecting to the neighboring municipality of Los Barrios has been simplified, reducing its length from 1.9 to 1.11 kilometers.
The technical documentation also incorporates a discharge project. These modifications address the allegations and deficiencies detected during the previous public consultation process held in August 2025. The overall budget for the infrastructure remains at 3.067 billion euros, divided into two execution phases.
