The festivity, one of the most anticipated events of spring, will include the traditional procession of San Isidro and an agricultural parade with floats and horses, which are characteristic elements of this celebration in the Campo de Gibraltar region.
At Cerro del Moro, in addition to a prayer in honor of the saint, various activities will be held for the public. Highlights include popular children's games, coordinated by the Asociación Camina, and equestrian activities, organized by the Asociación Ecuestre del Santísimo Cristo de la Almoraima.
One of the main attractions of this edition will be the II Paella Contest, which aims to bring together numerous participants around traditional gastronomy and a festive atmosphere. Registrations for this contest can be made at the Town Hall between May 12 and 15, and the organization will provide two kilograms of rice to each registered team.
During the day, the awards ceremony for the Romería del Santísimo Cristo de la Almoraima 2026 will also take place, recognizing the best floats, riders, and amazons in both adult and children's categories.
