The municipal delegation of Social Services of the La Línea City Council, through the 'Ciudades ante las Drogas' program, is carrying out preventive initiatives in the community. The aim is to foster knowledge of the social and natural environment, promoting healthy habits and alternatives to drug use.
This initiative is co-financed by the Regional Ministry of the Presidency, Health, and Emergencies of the Junta de Andalucía and the La Línea City Council. Outings are planned for participants to discover various healthy leisure alternatives offered by the city.
During the month of August, various activities have been organized, including visits to the municipal swimming pool in collaboration with Asansull, a summer camp at the Rowing Club, tours of the city on the Tourist Train, and an upcoming visit to the fishing port of La Atunara.
Furthermore, daily activities are held in squares in the neighborhoods of Los Junquillos and La Atunara, as well as on the beaches of Poniente and San Bernardo. Interested individuals can still participate in upcoming outings by checking the calendar on the social media accounts @ciudadeslalinea on Instagram and Tiktok.
The workshops, which combine playfulness and training, are coordinated by a monitor and focus on key areas such as personal development, art and creativity, communication and expression, sports, and healthy leisure. Group games and dynamics are also used to address cross-cutting themes like values education, social skills, healthy habits, co-education, and environmental education.
