The Spanish Basketball Federation has called up two players born in the province of Córdoba for a training camp. This initiative aims to gather some of the most promising talents in national basketball, with the goal of closely monitoring their development.
The athletes, originally from Puente Genil and Lucena, are part of a group of twelve young players currently training in the university sphere in the United States. The concentration, which will take place in Madrid, will be led by the senior national coach, Chus Mateo.
This group of players, all over 20 years old, have already completed their eligibility period for youth national teams. However, their participation in this camp positions them as strong candidates for future call-ups to the senior Spanish national team.
The specific work plan during these days will allow the coaching staff of the Spanish Basketball Federation to evaluate and closely follow the evolution of these athletes, many of whom compete in the American university league (NCAA).
