The winning third-tier ticket was sold by Antonio Muñoz, who has been an ONCE vendor since 2011. After an interruption due to illness in 2013, he resumed his work four years ago with renewed enthusiasm.
Muñoz, who expressed his happiness at awarding prizes to residents, joked about a 'little witch' gifted to him a few days prior, suggesting his luck with winning tickets might continue.
This prize is one of two third-tier awards that the European lottery brought to Spain last Friday. The lucky winner matched the five main numbers, missing out on the 17 million euro jackpot by just two suns (complementary numbers).
The vendor was pleased that fortune had come to Morón de la Frontera, and is eager to know who the winner is.
For the upcoming draw on Tuesday, August 18, the Eurojackpot will offer a jackpot of 22 million euros.
