The incident occurred in a four-story building located on Miguel Estepa Street in the Jaén town. The flames, reported shortly before 9:30 PM, primarily affected the kitchen and several appliances, including a washing machine and a microwave.
Although the fire was contained to the dwelling, the significant amount of smoke rendered the home temporarily uninhabitable for its three residents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the other residents of the building were able to return to their homes once the situation was under control.
The emergency call was received by the 1-1-2 emergency telephone service, part of the Andalusia Emergency Agency. Firefighters from Andújar, the National Police, and the Local Police of the municipality responded to the scene to manage the emergency.
