Setenil de las Bodegas, recognized as one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain since 2019, is preparing to host its anticipated August Fair. This municipality in the Sierra de Cádiz, known for its unique architecture carved under large rocks, will offer five days of celebration, from Wednesday, August 5th, to Sunday, August 9th.
The fair will feature an extensive program of activities designed to fill the fairgrounds with joy. Among the main attractions this year is the free concert by Kiko y Shara, scheduled for the night of Saturday, August 8th, at the Municipal Booth. Additionally, performances by La Banda del Pelícano, Jesús González, and the Orquesta Zafiro, who will be providing music on several nights, are planned.
The program also includes a daytime fair on Cuevas del Sol street, featuring DJ sets, a lunch for seniors, children's water activities, dance exhibitions, and other family-oriented events. Wednesday, August 5th, is dedicated to Children's Day, with reduced prices on amusement rides.
The official inauguration of the fair's lighting will take place on Thursday, August 6th, followed by a dinner organized by local brotherhoods and the opening of the Municipal Booth with the Orquesta Zafiro. On Friday, August 7th, in addition to the orchestra, La Banda del Pelícano will perform at midnight.
Saturday, August 8th, besides the Kiko y Shara concert, will feature a daytime fair with DJ Gallo, children's water activities, and the seniors' lunch. Sunday, August 9th, the closing day will include a performance by DJ Gallo, a dance exhibition by the local academy, and a concert by Jesús González.
