The incident occurred on Sunday morning on Pintor Zuloaga street. A Local Police patrol received an alert about a man collapsing in the street, apparently after a heart attack. Upon arrival, officers found the man unconscious on the ground with a bleeding head wound.
Eyewitnesses reported that the man had suddenly collapsed while returning from buying bread, hitting the pavement as he fell. Police immediately requested urgent medical assistance, and upon the ambulance's arrival, it was confirmed the man had no cardiac rhythm.
Paramedics and Local Police officers immediately began cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) maneuvers. After approximately 20 minutes of continuous effort, the man regained consciousness.
Once stabilized, the man was transferred to the Puerta del Mar University Hospital for specialized medical attention. During the operation, officers also worked to locate and contact his family to inform them of the situation and his transfer.
The Local Police managed traffic in the area to facilitate the ambulance's departure and ensure a swift and safe transfer of the patient.
