ONCE Consolidates Leadership in Cádiz: Record Employment and Sales

The province of Cádiz leads Andalusia in employee numbers and surpasses its historical record in sales and social investment.

ONCE has broken its historical record in the province of Cádiz during the past fiscal year 2025, excelling in employment, sales, social investment, and benefits. The organization solidifies its position as the third-largest employer in Spain and the leading one in Andalusia for people with disabilities.

The ONCE Social Group closed the 2025 fiscal year with 80,000 professionals nationwide, ranking as the third-largest employer in Spain. In the province of Cádiz, the organization has 3,959 workers, with 124 being new hires last year. Cádiz leads Andalusia in the number of employees within the ONCE Social Group, with 59% of its workforce being people with disabilities and 45% women.
The ONCE sales network in the province of Cádiz reached 1,516 workers, all with disabilities, marking the highest figure in recent years. This employment growth is accompanied by an improvement in revenue: nationally, ONCE's social lottery sales increased by 3.4% to 2.927 billion euros; Ilunion grew by 9.6% in turnover to 1.443 billion euros; and Fundación ONCE raised 154.5 million euros for projects aimed at the disability sector.
In Cádiz, ONCE's gaming product sales grew by 6.51% in the past fiscal year, exceeding the Andalusian average (4.69%), and generated 230.92 million euros. Of this amount, 131.16 million euros were returned directly to citizens as prizes, the largest sum ever distributed. For every 100 euros earned, 56.8 euros are allocated to prizes, 32.1 to salaries and expenses, and 11.1 euros to social action.
Social investment in the province of Cádiz reached 21.40 million euros, dedicated to promoting education, accessibility, and real inclusion for blind individuals or those with severe visual impairments. Last year, 90 people joined ONCE in Cádiz, bringing the total to 2,653 affiliates in the province. 4,266 hours of mediation were provided to individuals with deafblindness, and 1,861 personalized services were delivered, including bibliographic adaptations and technological equipment.
Education is a fundamental pillar for ONCE, which provided direct support to 239 individuals in Cádiz from birth through university, in collaboration with the Regional Government of Andalusia. Volunteering also played a key role, facilitating 4,247 services and 6,582 volunteer hours for 405 affiliates in Cádiz, enhancing their autonomy.
The figures from the 2025 Shared Value Report confirm that last year was a milestone for ONCE in Cádiz, surpassing all parameters after a decade of continuous growth, as highlighted by the ONCE delegate in Andalusia, Cristóbal Martínez.
