The Territorial Delegation of Educational Development of Cádiz has published the school calendar for the 2026/27 academic year, setting the return to classrooms throughout Andalusia. Classes for Early Childhood, Primary, and Special Education will commence on Thursday, September 10th.
Subsequently, on Thursday, September 15th, it will be the turn for students in Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Continuing Education, and Artistic Education. Language Schools will begin their activities on Monday, September 21st.
The calendar also details holiday periods and long weekends. The Pilar long weekend will extend for three days as the holiday falls on a Monday. The Immaculate Conception long weekend will have four days, with the December 6th holiday moved to Monday the 7th, adding to the 8th.
Christmas holidays are scheduled from Wednesday, December 23rd, to January 11th. The Andalusia long weekend will last three days, with the February 28th holiday moved to Monday, March 1st. Finally, April 30th has been designated as the Day of the Educational Community, creating a three-day break in May.
