The Fiestas Delegation of the Benalup-Casas Viejas City Council has unveiled the schedule for the Santiago and Santa Ana Fair 2026, which will take place from July 22 to 26 at the Fairgrounds. This event promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees, blending tradition with new attractions.
The fair days will feature a variety of musical performances, including artists such as José de la Vega, Nayra Gomar, María ‘La Mónica’, and Manuel Cribaño, who will perform during the Senior Citizens' Day. The program aims to provide entertainment for all audiences.
Among the major novelties this year are the inclusion of a bull calf competition (novillada) on Sunday and the highly anticipated Grand Prix contest on Saturday, which will involve local groups. Both events will be held in the bullring set up in front of the Municipal Football Field. The equestrian arena will also host various activities related to horses.
Thursday, July 23, has been designated as Children's Day, with fair attractions offered at a reduced price of 2.50 euros. Furthermore, an accessibility measure has been implemented: on Thursday, July 23, and Saturday, July 25, until 10:45 PM, the attractions, booths, youth zone, and equestrian area will remain noise-free to facilitate access for individuals with functional diversity.
The detailed schedule includes events such as the lighting ceremony on Wednesday the 22nd, performances by local dance groups, and the crowning of the fair's ladies and queens. Thursday will feature a special lunch for senior citizens and musical performances. Friday will include rice tastings and performances by various artists and DJs. Saturday, in addition to the Grand Prix, will host equestrian exhibitions and concerts. Sunday will conclude the fair with a bull calf corrida and musical performances, culminating in a light and cold fireworks show.
