Alongside another student from El Puerto, Álvaro secured the top score in the entrance exam. His final grade, including his Baccalaureate average, reached 13.875, slightly surpassing his peer. The young student is pursuing a Baccalaureate in Science and Technology and has earned a 'Matrícula de Honor' (highest honors).
Álvaro López Almazán-García shared that he learned of his achievement through a phone call from the coordinator of the University of Cádiz. He had been unable to access the UCA website due to server overload.
The student aims to pursue a double degree in Computer Engineering and Mathematics in Madrid. Despite feeling confident after the exam, he acknowledged the anxiety over potential errors that could have impacted the final outcome.
His family and close circle have expressed great joy over the young student's academic success, who is now preparing to enjoy a well-deserved summer break before embarking on his new university chapter.
