Starting this Monday, May 11, interested individuals can register for the summer program organized by the Municipal Sports Institute (IMD). The offerings include various modalities adapted to different experience levels, for both adults and minors.
Available options include ten-hour sailing courses on vessels such as raquero, catamaran, windsurf, Topaz, Argo, and Omega. Additionally, specific five-hour catamaran courses are offered.
The program is complemented by activities from the Foiling Base Cádiz, including Wing Foil and Birdyfish courses, with two-hour sessions. These disciplines, which use boards or hydrofoil boats to glide partially above the water, are reincorporated into the center's summer schedule.
Courses will be held in shifts from Monday to Friday, with schedules ranging from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and a special schedule for the cruising sailing course. The instruction period will cover the entire summer season, allowing for the distribution of spots throughout the summer.
To register, it is necessary to go to the Puerto Elcano Sports Complex and have the Municipal Sports Card, a standard requirement for IMD activities. Information can also be requested by phone or email.
