The exhibition, which can be visited until next August 25, commemorates the publication of the Royal Decree signed by Alfonso XII in 1876 that granted the City title to Chiclana. The exhibition features 17 collections from ODA members and collectors from other cities such as San Fernando, Cádiz, and Jerez.
The exhibition includes informative panels on the history of Spain in the late 19th century. Visitors can find stamps from the era, as well as labels from old wineries in Chiclana, highlighting the municipality's wine-making potential that led to the City title. Photographs showing the city's evolution are also on display.

We celebrate this anniversary because, moreover, things are going well for us and Chiclana functions as a city. We are convinced that we will continue to grow in something as important as quality of life and happiness. We cannot forget our roots, as with wines, esteros, orchards, or the red almadraba tuna, which will be fished again next year."
The vice-president of ODA, Miguel González, thanked the Chiclana City Council for remembering collectors and for providing the facilities. He highlighted the collection of labels from all the wineries that have existed in Chiclana throughout its history and invited citizens to visit the exhibition.
The City Chronicler and ODA member, José Luis Aragón Panés, recalled that since 2003 they have been closely following the city's cultural and historical trajectory, and that the exhibition addresses the Restoration period and the development of Chiclana over this century and a half.
On next August 25, the last day of the exhibition, Correos (the postal service) will use a commemorative postmark for the 150th anniversary at the Chiclana office, so that all correspondence leaving the city will bear this mark.
