This initiative allows visitors to explore the complete life cycle of the silkworm, from its exclusive diet of mulberry leaves to its transformation into a butterfly. A biology and environmental education specialist guides the tour, offering detailed explanations and answering questions about this fascinating natural process.
The proposal includes two creative workshops. The first, aimed at adults, will take place on Friday, May 8, from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM, and will teach how to make butterflies using the crochet technique. The second workshop, designed for children, will be held on Saturday, May 16 in two sessions (from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM), where children will create worm figures from socks.
“"To bring our visitors closer to natural processes in a didactic and attractive way, fostering curiosity and learning at all ages."
The activity is part of the shopping center's strategy to offer scientific dissemination and family leisure initiatives, diversifying its offerings beyond the commercial sphere. The specially designed space facilitates public access during regular opening hours, attracting visitors from nearby municipalities in the Bay of Cádiz.
