Santa Ana Park will host the VI Open Brócoli Session on September 11th and 12th, an open sociocultural event aimed at promoting culture and art. This edition expands its program and will take place over two days, featuring an open stage, a craft market, an outdoor art gallery, and various workshops.
Organized by the Open Brócoli Cultural Association, in collaboration with the Chiclana City Council and Chiclana Natural, the initiative upholds its founding goal from 2023: to provide a free space for artistic expression encompassing music, exhibitions, drawing, performance, painting, crafts, poetry, and dance.
The presentation of the new edition was led by the Delegate for Environment and Vice President of Chiclana Natural, Roberto Palmero, alongside association members Sergio López, Javier Cosme, and Alfonso Saucedo. Registration is now open for those wishing to participate, with application forms and updated event information available on the Instagram account @openbrocolisession.
Roberto Palmero expressed the pride of the Environment Delegation and Chiclana Natural in supporting this project for the second consecutive year. Initiated by Alfonso, Javi, and Sergio with friends, it has grown spectacularly by championing alternative leisure and the arts.
The delegate highlighted the talent and involvement of young people in the initiative, which led to the event's relocation to Santa Ana Park, a larger and more natural space, ideal for the growing public attendance. Following last year's success at this venue, a new edition arrives with significant new features.
Alfonso Saucedo described the Open Brócoli Session as a family-friendly event born from the need to offer a platform for those wishing to express their artistic interests, whether it's singing a song, displaying paintings, or exhibiting graphic designs.
Saucedo also mentioned the inclusion of a broad and diverse craft market, and as a novelty, the addition of workshops for all ages throughout the day. The public is invited to enjoy the environment and Santa Ana Park for an additional day.
