This artistic fund, which forms the core of the future local museum, aims to preserve, study, and disseminate the creative legacy linked to the city. The exhibition stands out for its plural nature, integrating various generations and techniques ranging from academic figuration to the most recent conceptual expressions.
The exhibition is structured through the work of five key authors. The journey begins with the technical rigor and mastery of drawing by José López Arjona, followed by the humanistic figuration and social commitment of Ricardo Zamorano. The exhibition also highlights the innovation in engraving by Dimitri Papagueorguiu, the expressive freedom and dreamlike symbolism of Ginés Liébana, and the contemporary vision of Paco Lara-Barranco, who contributes multidisciplinary languages such as photography and installation.
The consolidation of this space has been made possible thanks to institutional collaboration and contributions from various donors, which have allowed for the gathering of a collection of paintings, engravings, and graphic works of great value. The museum itinerary allows visitors to delve into the evolution of artistic techniques and the importance of collective memory within the Andalusian cultural landscape.
