The concluding matchday of Group IX in Tercera Federación delivered disappointing news for football clubs in Jaén. UDC Torredonjimeno, which had its play-off destiny in its own hands for promotion to Segunda Federación, saw its hopes dashed after a defeat at Matías Prats against Marbellí FC. Meanwhile, Martos CD confirmed its relegation to División de Honor Sénior following a heavy loss in Huétor Vega, suffering from a three-way tie at the bottom of the league table.
The match for UDC Torredonjimeno at Matías Prats, initially anticipated as a celebration, ended in disappointment. The home team needed a victory to secure fifth place, but Marbellí FC took the lead in the 21st minute with a goal from Lulu. Despite efforts to stage a comeback in the second half, the team failed to score, and Marbellí FC sealed the game with a second goal from Kepa, resulting in a 0-2 final score. This defeat leaves UDC Torredonjimeno in seventh position with 50 points, out of the promotion play-offs, with the Copa RFAF as their only remaining competition.
For Martos CD, the day was equally unfortunate. The team, which also depended on its own performance to avoid direct relegation, suffered a 4-0 thrashing during their visit to Las Viñas against CD Huétor Vega. Goals from Miguel Moleón and Pedro Pérez in the first half, followed by Joan Grasa and Migue Peinado in the second, sealed their fate. This result, combined with CD Huétor Tájar's victory and Atlético Mancha Real's draw, led to a three-way tie at 37 points, condemning Martos CD to the third-to-last position and, consequently, relegation to División de Honor Sénior.
Atlético Mancha Real was the beneficiary of this three-way tie. Despite initially falling behind 1-0 against CD Alhaurino with a goal from Ismael Villena, they managed to equalize in the 56th minute through Luis Torres. This draw, coupled with the other results, allowed them to avoid direct relegation, finishing in fourteenth position. However, the team remains susceptible to potential further relegations, depending on the outcomes of CD Estepona's matches in Segunda Federación to secure their permanence.
Finally, CD Torreperogil, already relegated, bid farewell to the category with a prestigious 1-2 victory against UD Torre del Mar. Meanwhile, Atlético Porcuna concluded the season with a 2-1 defeat against CF Motril but secured a commendable ninth-place finish in the standings.
