The Urban Planning department of the Villa del Río City Council has reported on the progress of works included in the PROFEA program. This initiative aims to create employment for agricultural laborers and enhance various public spaces within the locality.
The interventions focus on three main actions: the remodeling of the lower part of the Jardín del Lirio, involving new paving and sanitation improvements; the renewal of the sidewalk on Calle Madrid, adapted for people with reduced mobility and including upgrades to water and sanitation networks; and the remodeling of Calle Fuensanta.
Specifically, the work on Calle Fuensanta includes sidewalk renewal, adaptation for people with reduced mobility, replacement of the water supply network, and improvement of the sanitation system.
This initiative represents a total investment of €268,296.86. Funding comes from the SEPE (€176,241.12), the Provincial Council of Córdoba (€19,827.12), the Junta de Andalucía (€59,481.38), and the Villa del Río City Council itself (€12,747.24), covering the material costs.
