Under the title “To the Rhythm of the Soul”, this thirty-third edition will bring together outstanding national flamenco artists. The night will be dedicated to singing, dancing, guitar, and percussion.
On guitar will be Agustín Carbonell “El Bola”, recognized for his career alongside flamenco greats and his blend of tradition and new sounds, and José Cortés “El Pirata”, a guitarist from Granada with extensive experience in tablaos and fusion projects.
Dancing will be performed by Cristina Remacho, Rocío Montoya, and Manuela “La Isleña”, with a special collaboration from Daniel Caballero. All boast significant national and international stage experience.
Cristina Remacho, trained at the Reina Sofía Professional Dance Conservatory in Granada, has worked with renowned artists. Rocío Montoya, a dancer from Granada, has been part of companies like Riverdance and performed at festivals such as the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla and the Festival de Jerez. Manuela “La Isleña”, originally from Reunion Island, has a solid artistic and teaching career. Daniel Caballero, a young dancer from Madrid, is noted for his strength and versatility.
Singing will be by Alejandro Luján “El Gambimbas”, a singer from Monachil recognized for his career and awards, and Antonio Heredia, a singer from a traditional flamenco family with experience alongside top dancers.
Percussion will be handled by Pancho Brañas, a drummer and percussionist with extensive experience in jazz, flamenco, rock, pop, and Latin music, and a history of working with prominent artists.
The festival promises an evening celebrating flamenco art in all its expressions, uniting talent and tradition on the Plaza Alpujarra stage.
