The Government Sub-delegation in Almería hosted the final meeting to review the security plan for the football match between UD Almería and Málaga CF scheduled for Saturday. Participants included the Government Sub-delegate, José María Martín, the provincial chief commissioner of the National Police, Antonio María Delgado, the colonel chief of the Civil Guard Command, José Antonio Carvajal, and the general secretary of the Sub-delegation, Antonio Hernández de la Torre Chicote.
José María Martín explained that the operation will involve preventive and precautionary measures with a significant number of officers deployed around the stadium and adjacent areas. He emphasized the crucial role of coordination among the National Police, the Civil Guard, and the Local Police to ensure the smooth running of the sporting event.
The sub-delegate urged all fans attending the match to enjoy it with enthusiasm and to show respect towards the opposing team's supporters, calling for mutual respect.
The National Police will lead the operation, coordinating security measures within the city and around the stadium. The Local Police of Almería will collaborate, with support from the Civil Guard for road access and travel.
